Posted on 10 August 2009

New York, New York hotels are some of the nicest, most attractive, and most relaxing hotels in all of New York. For those of you who truly want to feel pampered on your vacation and for those who have prepared enough money to afford a luxury hotel, I’ve compiled a list of the top luxury New York, New York hotels!

1. Four Seasons Hotel

You want a first rate hotel, and you’ll get one here! If you have the money to stay at a luxury hotel, by all means, choose the Four Seasons. First of all, the brand is enough to brag about! When you tell people you stayed at the Four Seasons, they’ll be in awe! It’s a name so recognizable for luxury, you’ll feel good everytime you look at your room key and see the name. All rooms host a sleeping room, sitting room, and marble bathroom. Downstairs you will find a spa, pool, fitness facility, and a gallery of restaurants. Vallet service and concierge is rated amongst the best in the world.

2. Ritz-Carlton Central Park Hotel New York

Imagine this: You wake up each sunny morning and release your blinds to allow the sunlight in your room. Looking below, you observe freshly cut grass, rushing fountains, and parents interacting with their children. After a quick stretch and bite to eat, you decide to join in on the fun, so you and your accomplice head down to the tennis courts for a workout.

Sound good? I thought you’d like that!

3. Trump International Hotel New York

If you recognize the name behind the hotel, you probably already know what to expect. The Trump International Hotel New York is the highest user rated hotel on the entire Internet! With 52 stories overlooking Central Park and Broadway, you won’t have to go further that 3 miles to view almost everything you every wanted to see in New York!  Rooms feature a separate sitting area and kitchenette. Pets are also allowed.

Planning a Trip to New York

New York Travel Tips: Important of Planning

Posted on 26 July 2009

Planning a trip to New York is not like planning a trip to anywhere else in the world! New York is a big city with lots to do. You must have a good plan ready from the moment you step off of the plane to the second you get right back on.

  • Catching taxis isn’t as fun as it looks! Sure, in the movies pedestrians can catch a taxi in a snap. However, real life is not that easy – especially if you are travelling with a group or family. Make sure you have plans for getting around the town. Walking everywhere is not ideal either, so renting a car may be your best option.
  • You can get great deals online, in advance! There’s a reason why people are booking online more and more these days. You can access great deals online with ease. Plus, walking in and booking a room is so much more expensive and risky. What if the hotel is full?
  • Money will be an issue. You need to budget for food, gas, flights, event tickets, tours, souveneirs, shopping, hotel fees, unexpected needs, and more! It’s not possible to just pick up and leave for New York.

Planning is more than important, it’s mandatory! There’s also no halfway planning. New York is a big deal, and planning your next trip to New York is an even bigger one.
